Do Not Read This !— Avengers Endgame Spoiler pack

Ready for a spoiler-packed review of Avengers Endgame?

This is an epic tale across time and space. I was troubled by the reveal that it off-set the common understanding of time-travel and the space-time continuum… everything I thought I knew is a lie. Is Back To The Future a lie too? I don’t know anything anymore.

Following on from Avengers: Infinity War when half the world was wiped out, touched me emotionally, but Avengers: Endgame did not make a successful attempt to make this connection; though the directors and cast tried their damndest. The audience at the theatre seemed to really enjoy key scenes. There was the loss of Clint Barton’s family in the opening scene, to the mending of the rift between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers created during the events of Captain America: Civil War. A bit of comic relief came in the form of Thor’s “despair” over the loss exacted by Thanos, let’s just say that it was more than just a heavy weight on his conscience.

Along with the remaining characters including Ant-Man, Nebula, Hulk, and Rocket… not to mention a save-the-day cameo from Captian Marvel [she has S#!T to do]. Of course, the team must do something to reverse the snap by Thanos. Are you thinking time travel… yes, there is time travel, but they changed the rules. Quey flashbacks, reconciliations, breaking of the space-time continuum with characters interacting with versions of themselves, which should fold time into itself, but doesn’t color me #puzzled.

Overall this is seen as the definitive superhero movie. It was a homage to the 21 movies in the franchise that came beforehand, and a great “end” to the series. I will confess that I hoped for more screen time for Captain Marvel, her role was small, but her entrances were impactful.

The point of the movie is progressing the storyline and not simply on blast everything up superhero strength, but more so the strength of mind and character, as the past is a tempting thing to alter.

Just remember at all times, some people are gone, and others are sorta gone. Tony Starks is dead-dead!
