ACTRESS CHECKS TO SEE IF SHE DIES FIRST
HBO celebrated the final season for Game of Thrones in NYC yesterday. Cast and Crew, minus Lena Headley (Cersei Lannister), were sad to say goodbye to the series which has taken almost 10 years to conclude since the first episode of GOT in 2011.
Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) shared that she wore her waterproof mascara to hide her tears at the end of GOT, while Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) says she was very lucky to play the role. Gwendoline Christie stunned fans as she graced the red carpet in a breathtaking Iris van Herpen couture gown. Her regal goddess-like appearance totally contrasted the homely Brienne of Tarth character she plays.
The first episode of Game of Thrones Season 8 will be released April 14th and fans wait with bated breath, hoping for any insight on how the most popular series ever to be aired will end. One thing for sure, the popular phrase, ‘my watch has ended’ was resonating in the mind of each actor and actress in NYC yesterday. Gwendoline Christie revealed that every Game of Thrones cast member always checked each season to see if they died first before reading the entire script. For GOT season 8 however, no one did.
“I didn’t do it this season, I read it from beginning to the end, and um, what a read.”— Gwendoline Christie
